ANGIE LANDERS

Angie began singing at the age of three, after watching the movie ‘Annie’. She believed that all red heads were just supposed to sing, so that’s what she did. Despite her severe hearing loss as a child, and many doctor’s telling her that she should not persue singing, she has continued to do so, and show the world that singing was her gift from God. Angie has performed at such locations as Cedar Park Center, Gilley’s Dallas, House of Blues in Houston and Dallas, Billy Bob’s in Ft. Worth, the Legends stage and the Jim Stafford stage in Branson, Missouri, Elitch Gardens in Denver, Colorado, Six Flags Over Texas in Dallas, and so many more.

She has opened for such acts as Ty Herndon, Bryan White, and Joey & Rory.

Angie has also won many titles throughout her singing career. Some include the 1996 Wyoming State Fair’s ‘Catch a Rising Star’ winner, 1997 Karaoke Champion of Colorado, 2003 Garland Opry Talent Search Winner, Top 5 finalist on UPN 21’s Gimme The Mic North Texas in 2005, Rockwall Idol winner of 2006, Desoto Star Search winner 2007, Voice of Pride winner 2012, regional finalist on ABC’s Karaoke Battle USA, she took second place in the Female Pop category and first place in the Female Country category in Talent Quest 2013, and she recently won the local round of Colgate Country Showdown and was able to perform live with a band at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas this past summer. she also recently won the Voice of Buda, in Buda, TX. and was one of the top three finalists in the Texas Star Competition this past winter.
